Homage is a Singapore-based tech startup that matches families and caregivers.
The Homage app was redesigned with the goal of creating a self-serve app that seamlessly onboards new users. Because the service that Homage provides is rather new in the market, users had to be over-educated and provided with all the information required to make them feel like they understand the benefits provided. The onboarding process was revamped in such a way that not only reduced the number of steps required, but also included a lot of hand-holding that ensured the user was providing the most accurate information.
The result would be a huge saving in customer acquisition costs by reducing the need for Homage staff to call up every lead collected from their socials and website and convert them to paying customers.
